Exercise 01 _  Experiments

I did 6 tests with different shapes and different speeds but with the same power (50) to find out which is the best speed to use for laser cutting.
Every time we reduce the speed, we get a better result

Exercise 02 _  Joints

In this task, I made small pieces that connecting to each other to build a map, and because I used wood,I made the space between each part to another to make the connectors and sides accurate

Material Thickness: 0.4cm

Step 01

Drawing the map

Step 02

Adding different hatches

Step 03

Dividing the pieces to create distance

Exercise 03 _  2D to 3D

In this task, I made pieces that connecting to each other to form a 3D model
and as for the sides, it came out burnt because the speed is high

Material Thickness: 0.4cm

Exercise 04 _  Pop up, Kerfing, Origami and Exciting materials

In this task, I chose to work using the Kirigami method, and I did more than one experiment

Paper type: duplex

Experiment No. 11

In the first experiment, I tried to make large and right angles in relation to the thickness of the paper

Experiment No. 12

In the second experiment, I tried to add sharp angles and triangles to verify the efficiency of working with this paper, and the experiment did not work as well as the first experiment 11

Experiment No. 2

Here I tried to make the shape more complex and with smaller angles, but I didn't succeed in folding it due to the thickness of the paper

Exercise 05 _   Final Project: 2 techniques

In this task, I chose to use the join and kerfing methods to make a box of playing cards. The experience on this wood was very good and with little laser effects, unlike in task num 03
